Our company aims to provide Implements to farmers for activities ranging from Soil preparation to Harvesting and Threshing. In India, population has grown rapidly and the farmers employed in agriculture have decreased every year (due to urbanization and increase in the number of industries in the country). Therefore, there is a need of Farm Mechanization to feed the current population of India as labour in agriculture have declined for past several decades and these numbers are expected to double. The basic idea is to increase cropping intensity, i.e, In the same amount of area we would like to produce 2, 3 or 4 crops depending upon the duration of crop and the type of crop and in result we can increase the production within the area available. The agriculture operation from field preparation to harvesting and threshing has to be timed well so that, there are less losses in terms of quantity of crops and quality of crops. Hence, to maintain this timeliness of operation it is important to use effective machines to increase productivity within given period of time. This can easily be achieved by application of engineering and technology in farm production and its advantages are as follows - Ensuring timeliness of field operations. Improves farm crop productivity. Reduce crop losses and improves grain quality. Reduce human drudgery. This mechanization can also be backed by increase in power available. Power to use these machinery are derived mainly from tractors and as per data power availability has increased over 7x times in the past 50 years. But these numbers are still very less compared to other countries such as China, Japan, etc. We aim to innovate existing machinery to provide better efficiency in farming with sustainability. The machines that we are trying to develop will help farmer solve various problems such as nutrition of soil, etc. All of the above claims are based on government statistical data and the claims are carefully framed.
