Kris Kyria founded by New York based designer, Chrissy Vella in 2014. A New York native, Chrissy graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology where she studied fashion design. She draws inspiration from music, nature, geometry and formal couture craft. Her American made designs reflect this harmonious clash in every piece. Kris Kyria’s collection is produced in the USA, in Rhode Island and in Chrissy’s Yonkers based studio. Each piece is brass based and embellished with glass and stone sourced from all over the world including vintage and reclaimed stones from Germany and the Czech Republic. Energy and spirituality are a vital part of each design. Color is more than just an aesthetic decision, but used to create a mood. Kris Kyria believes in the spiritual properties of semi precious stones, and we are mindful of the stones used in our designs.
