KrishiEX aims to address the challenges of demand and supply mismatch in the hugely fragmented agricultural supply chain market, which has not been disrupted for generations. We have built an m-commerce platform where farmers can buy agricultural inputs through a miss call or click of an app. We provide quality agricultural inputs at market competitive prices and expert recommendations for the same. We have tied up with around 22 well known brands in the seeds and pesticides domain. We also provide them the ability to buy high quality agricultural implements from well know companies like Maschisio Gaspardo, Shaktiman. KrishiEx has been operational for 7 months. In these 7 months we have served farmers. Almost farmers have got themselves registered on to our platform. The Gross Merchandise value of the products sold on our platform has been well over Rs 1 Crore. At the core of our business model lies extensive utilisation of data analytics in predicting demand and agri-input stock aggregation which helps lower the procurement cost and increasing margins through economies of scale. We have also built mobile applications for the farmers to understand the problem in their crop and apply the right crop nutrients. Currently with a team of 25 motivated individuals including 3 cofounders we wish to revolutionise the way farmers Buy,Grow and Sell.
