Kromya Art Gallery

KROMYA Art Gallery was founded in 2018 in Lugano, Switzerland. In 2020, a second location was opened in Verona, Italy. The Gallery's mission is to build bridges between nations and generations through a dynamic program covering art, education and hospitality. KROMYA exhibits a range of Italian and Swiss artists of the 20th and 21st centuries, established and emerging, offering programming focused on their work and research, creating moments of cultural exchange for a diverse audience through exhibitions, presentations and lectures. The exhibition activity is distinguished in sections called "Camere" and "•YOUNG.""Camera," which takes its title from the classic early 20th-century apartment in which the Gallery is located and the postwar German tradition of housing art galleries in private apartments, is devoted to historicized masters and authors with a structured curriculum."•YOUNG," inaugurated in 2019, is the section to investigate new languages, deepen knowledge of new generations of artists, support and enhance them In addition to presenting a dynamic schedule of exhibitions, the gallery participates in various art fairs. It also collaborates with the newly formed GAL (Association of Art Galleries Lugano).
