I've held positions throughout the software development lifecycle for large corporations as well as startups in Silicon Valley. My work has always been about systems software, beginning my career as an operating systems developer and growing into multiple leadership positions. The Software industry and the workforce are changing quickly, people are shifting their careers at a very rapid pace, often leaving employers in a lurch, upgrades and shifts to the Cloud and Services put pressure on your Dev, Test and Ops practices, shifts around privacy and security, and certification and regulation cause time pressures.
