Kvittar

Every day stores and restaurant in Sweden, by norm, print enough paper to cover a distance from Malmoe to London*. This despite the fact that almost all receipts are digital in their original format. The receipt is a proof that you own something but still today this is a small piece of paper. Kvittar is a system that digitize receipts and offers a digital infrastructure. This digital infrastructure can reduce administrative costs for paper receipts by reducing the consumption of paper, changing of receipts and lack of customers receipts. Users that are connected to Kvittar get receipts digital from point of sale system that are integrated with Kvittar DRS (Digital Receipt System). Each user will get an own secure and private profile from where they can print their receipts, get them in PDF or export the to XML or CVS format. At the webpage the receipts are easy to search for and add annotations. Kvittar won the local nordic Seedcamp 2009.
