Kwazo International exists to give persons with disabilities a fair chance to build meaningful careers in technology. Across Africa, many are excluded from education and work not because they lack talent, but because of deep-rooted beliefs, inaccessible systems, and limited opportunities. We are changing that story. Through accessible training, mentorship, and verified skill assessments, we help persons with disabilities gain the confidence and credibility to work in today’s digital world. Our online talent marketplace connects them to employers who are ready to hire inclusively and see ability before anything else. Kwazo brings together five connected actions that move inclusion from theory to practice. We raise awareness to challenge old beliefs, provide accessible tech training led by mentors with lived experience, validate skills through trusted assessments, prepare employers to onboard inclusively, and support entrepreneurship for those ready to build their own ventures. Our vision is a future where opportunity depends on skill and contribution, not circumstance. A future where persons with disabilities are seen as engineers, designers, analysts, and leaders shaping Africa’s digital transformation.
