KWB stands for Kraft (power) and Wärme (heat) from Biomasse (biomass) and is synonymous with cutting-edge biomass heating systems. For more than 20 years KWB is engaged with development and manufacturing of log wood, wood chip- and wood pellet-heating systems with capacities from 2,4 to 300 kW. Application areas range from single and multi-family homes, commercial and bigger buildings (e.g. school) and farms to district heating networks. KWB is represented 26 times in Europe, Chile, Canada and Japan. Own subsidiaries in Germany, Italy, and France ensure nationwide sales and customer service. The company situated in St. Margarethen/Raab in Styria was founded by biomass pioneers August Raggam and Erwin Stubenschrott in 1994. In over 20 years KWB satisfied more than customers with sustainable heat from wood. KWB stands for innovative products with first class quality. Research and development is very important for the company. Starting with the world’s first wood chip heating system with fully automatic heat exchanger cleaning system, innovations like the development of the under-feed combustion for wood pellet heating systems lead to the establishment of the first and largest private research and development center for biomass in Europe. Working closely together with certified partner installers is essential for KWB to realize individual heating- and storage-projects for end customers The fact that all KWB boilers are distributed with the KWB Divisible-Portable-System, which means easier transport and fitting for installers, is based on the benefits of partnership even when it comes to product development.
