Kweza Craft Brewery

Kweza Craft Brewery is Rwanda’s first craft beer and beverage brewery, and it is owned and led by women. We are opening a craft beer and non-alcoholic brewery in Kigali, Rwanda. Kweza was started through a Kickstarter campaign in 2016: We will source locally, sustainably, and to practice business models that support women and the local economy. We will serve European style ales, but also ginger beer, pineapple passionfruit beer, sorghum beer hybrids, and other beverages made of local ingredients, as well as provide a restaurant experience at our brewpub. We are currently in R&D phase, hoping to be publicly available in late 2020.
