La Blouse Roumaine – Cultural Movement & Design Platform Founded in 2012, La Blouse Roumaine is an international cultural movement and platform dedicated to revaluing heritage as a living resource for creativity, identity, and innovation. Our initiatives span from global cultural diplomacy to community-based projects, including: • Universal Day of the Romanian Blouse – celebrated in over 60 countries • Give Credit / Give Back Credit – protecting artisans and heritage communities against cultural appropriation • Artisans of Romania – documenting and revitalizing traditional craftsmanship • Acasă, la Origini – participatory ethnography and immersive storytelling in Romanian villages • Brâncuși Week – mapping Brâncuși’s legacy in museums, public spaces, and contemporary creativity • Romania 1.0 – a cultural & sports heritage project inspired by Nadia Comăneci’s “Perfect 10” • Romanian Point Lace Day – celebrating the unique Romanian lace tradition within the international lace heritage network Together, these projects shape the Cultural Design Center, a vision for integrating tradition, innovation, and sustainability at local and global level.
