La Piadineria

Founded in 1994, La Piadineria is Italy’s largest fast-food chain, with a network of around 530 restaurants across major Italian cities and a rapidly expanding presence in France. It is also the fastest-growing brand in the fast-casual segment: in 2025 the company opened nearly 75 new locations, with a similar number planned for 2026. La Piadineria restaurants offer over 30 varieties of piadina, made using dough produced exclusively at the company’s Montirone (BS) facility according to its original, proprietary recipe. Today, the brand serves an average of almost piadinas every day, each grilled and filled by hand to order based on individual customer preferences. Ingredients are always fresh and sourced from Italian suppliers, ensuring consistently high product quality. La Piadineria currently employs approximately 3,800 people, a figure expected to grow by at least 600 new hires each year. Continuous investment in training and professional development from day one is a key driver in sustaining the company’s strong growth trajectory. Internationalization began in 2017 in neighboring France, where 13 restaurants are already in operation, and the opening of the first restaurant in New York is now imminent. Since April 2024, La Piadineria has been owned by CVC Capital Partners.
