La Strada International

La Strada International (LSI) is a European NGO Platform which fights to end human trafficking. The LSI Platform has 26 member organisations and 2 associate members in 23 European countries. All members are NGOs, operating independently and at a grassroots level. They run hotlines and shelters for trafficked persons, publish information and prevention materials, provide direct psychological and social assistance to trafficked persons and train various professionals how to identify and work with trafficked persons. LSI represents its member organisations at an EU and international level and works to end human trafficking through influencing EU policies, supporting members capacity building, and providing a forum for discussion and information exchange.
