Labit is a for-Profit Business Incubator that was started in 2014 by Ivan Swartz, Jurgen Smith and Renier Zandberg. We are focused on establishing and growing community based entrepreneurs that are both hardworking and community-minded. We believe that our sustainable model for business incubation addresses previous injustices, but mainly focuses on the future and how we can create a better life for all community members. By creating and supporting entrepreneurs, we enable them to build sustainable businesses that not only stimulate economic activity, but also addresses the large threat of unemployment and poverty. We follow a philosophy of DeConstruct - ReThink - ReConstruct. Firstly we seek to understand the idea, the individual and the environment. We then ask questions on how we can improve, adapt and make alterations. Finally we connect all the pieces together and ensure long term success and scalability.
