Labori Systems provides expertise in mission-critical autonomy for unmanned ground, maritime, and aerial vehicle systems. We support technology companies that are developing cutting-edge autonomous robotic systems across a variety of domains. Since our inception in 2018, we have provided these companies with a broad range of services, including product strategy, business development, and systems engineering. Labori Systems' founder and owner, Mads Schmidt, has spent his 25 year career in advanced research and development for robotic systems. Prior to starting Labori Systems, he was Director of Unmanned Systems at QinetiQ North America (QNA), one of the preeminent defense robotics providers in the US. There he led a group of over 60 engineers and technicians in lifecycle maintenance of existing products, transition to production of several new robots, and development of new robotic systems and advanced capabilities. Prior to his position at QNA, he led the Autonomy Systems group at Scientific Systems Company, Inc. In that role he was responsible for development of the company's multi-vehicle autonomy technology, which allowed many dozens of diverse robotic agents to collaborate towards common mission goals.
