History : Lachhman Dass & Co. was formed in 1931 by Babu Chiranji Lal. The company started out as Lachhman Dass & Sons, an import-export trading firm in Chawri Bazaar, Delhi, which bartered sports goods for building hardware materials. We gradually made our foray into manufacturing in 1936 with facilities of Engraving Casting & Fabrication. Shri Krishna M Mahajan succeeded his father in 1947 and Rajeev Mahajan current owner joined the business in 1978. Rajeev Mahajan, at an early age spearheaded the completion of signage and fabrication projects including the prestigious Asian Games flame in 1982. He continues to lead the company to this day.
