Lafv Liechtensteinischer Anlagefondsverband

The Liechtenstein Investment Fund Association (Germ. Liechtensteinischer Anlagefondsverband, LAFV) was established in September and is the official representative body of the Liechtenstein fund industry. Its members are all UCITS management companies, most of the alternative investment fund managers (AIFM) and other financial service providers, such as, for example custodian banks, law firms, auditing firms, specialised IT providers or providers of training and education. The LAFV takes on the task to support the development of Liechtenstein as a location for investment funds, and thereby to further improve Liechtenstein’s attractiveness for investment fund providers and investors. This should be achieved in particular through active development and demand-oriented expansion of the fund legislation. Supporting their members as well as representing interests of the fund industry and the investment fund location itself, both domestically and abroad, are further tasks of the association. The fund domicile Liechtenstein is mainly renowned for private label funds. Fund promoters who want to start a fund often choose Liechtenstein as a jurisdiction because of the advantageous environment for setting up a fund. More information is available on lafv.li.
