Established in Venice in 1994, Laguna~B is the point of reference for collectible Murano glassware Everything started when Marie Brandolini invented the Goto in 1994. A Parisian glass design pioneer, she was inspired by the informal cups the Murano masters made using leftovers from their work in the hot shop. Amused by this “pure game of chance,” Marie reinterpreted the process to create the Goto collection, combining traditional Murano techniques with an innovative, pop aesthetic approach. With the Goto, Laguna~B redefined what “contemporary” meant in the glass field. In 2016 Marie’s son, Marcantonio, took over the business and reimagined Laguna~B as the forward-thinking company it is today, signing hand-made, collectible pieces that last for generations. Today, Laguna~B is a multi-faceted reality that relies upon a series of well defined values, striving to reduce the company's environmental footprint while enhancing its social and cultural impact.
