Our craft is our passion - We design and handcraft beautiful, bespoke furniture -Our story- Between them, Ian Sugden and Paul Thornton have spent 32 years learning their craft. In 2016, they became partners and started their own furniture-making business. Having worked together for 6 years, they had come to realise they shared the same passion for making quality furniture without compromise. Paul began his training in 1996, which led to him leading a team of craftsmen and apprentices, and managing complex bespoke projects, often requiring hundreds of hours of work per item. Ian left school in 2008 and was determined to pursue a career with wood, his fledgling interest being developed at a very young age working on the lathe with his father.
