Lallo is a new kind of curated event discovery platform based in Los Angeles. We think it should be easier to find, track, and share events in LA across art, music, and culture. It’s crazy that you need to use a combination of apps, email, and texting to find and track the events that you’re passionate about. Most event discovery apps do not curate their content, but instead scrape the internet for their events or get paid to post them, significantly diminishing quality. Instagram is great, but there are no event filters, you miss your favorite events due to the algorithm, and without a calendar you forget about them. We all deserve a simple platform that allows us to find, track, and share only the best events across disciplines, selected by actual humans. Our mission is to serve as the mycelium connecting and fostering in-person friendship and connections across the diverse micro-communities of LA.
