The main objective of Lamaro Studio is to create a platform for women-led businesses to network, mentor each other & access markets. Norah Nyeko, our Founder was inspired by the Women’s Advocacy Network, a Community Based Organization that brings together 800 + war-affected women. Below are some of the ways that Lamaro Studio creates opportunities for women-led businesses: 1. Annual International Women’s Day Fashion Show on 8 March. Two Gift Stores in Gulu located at Gulu Craft Village (Behind Gulu Post Office) & Rolling Donkey Café (Former Iron Donkey Cafe). Women in Business Meetings on a monthly basis.
