Lambunao garments is a revenue generating unit of LGU lambunao under the Municipal Economic Enterprise and Development (MEEDO). It’s started its operation March 16 2009 and employed 27 (twenty seven) workers thus reducing the unemployment rate of the municipality. The Lambunao Garments has its ups and down but persevered to become a sustainable to further revenue generating unit. By the start of CY 2015, Lambunao Garments is ready to expand and achieve higher productivity. There is however a need to address the long felt need to acquire additional special machines, enhance the skills of workers, improved maintenance. On top of these, there is also a need to remain assess and strengthen areas where deficiencies were observed. Similarity, the management will be strengthened and policies and guidelines made simple and easier to grasp by the worker. Thus additional twelve (12) units of high-speed sewing machines and 1 unit over lock hi-speed sewing machines that will further paved the way in the way in the development of the garment project in the Municipality and Province as well.
