LaMunt - Premium mountain sports apparel by women for women A new mountain sports code for women that combines functionality and aesthetics, interwoven in an intriguing way. Working towards the mission of enabling women to express their individuality – while they are being active in the mountains. Our origin Based in Bolzano, founded by Ruth Oberrauch, and inspired in Alta Badia valley where the Ladin language is still spoken today. “LaMunt” is a Ladin word, it means “The Mountain” and is female, like Mother Nature herself, and confident like the towering rocks that overlook the valley. The “La” is feminine, the “Munt” has a strong and confident sound. Both are part of LaMunt. It’s feminine and strong, yet beautiful and mysterious. LaMunt Cares LaMunt Cares is LaMunt’s approach towards a more sustainable future. By choosing recycled, natural and PFAS-Free materials we aim to improve our collections in a way to reduce our impact on the planet, while creating products made to last, to be repaired and in the future to recycle. We are committed to fair working conditions and high social standards. LaMunt is a member of the NGO Fair Wear Foundation (FWF), an expert organization in the promotion and improvement of working conditions in the textile industry. 🤍 By women for women Aside the LaMunt feminine team our “by women for women” approach is supported by our LaMunt Crew: a group of 20 different women from 3 countries who are united by their passion for the mountains and being outdoors – each living the mountains in very different ways.
