Lancer Media Group

Lancer Media Group is a student-run multimedia organization at California Baptist University. LMG exists to give students practical and real-time journalism and public relations experience. We produce the Banner newspaper, Pursuit magazine, Angelos yearbook, Lancer PR Firm and CBU TV; all of which are available to over students at CBU and the surrounding community. The Banner Newspaper: Our newspaper publishes in print biweekly for a total of 12 issues each school year. The Banner staff regularly reports on news, lifestyle trends, sports, business & tech, and arts & entertainment topics relevant to students at CBU and the surrounding community. All of our stories are also available at cbubanner.com. Pursuit Magazine: Our magazine publishes three times each school year for a fall, winter and spring issue. Angelos Yearbook: Our yearbook is an annual tradition at CBU that focuses on being a historical reference to CBU life, traditions, experience and advancement. Angelos yearbook prints in April of every academic school year and is available to traditional undergraduate students at CBU. CBU TV: This is our broadcast journalism publisher. The staff at CBU TV produce shows throughout Fall and Spring semester showcasing CBU students and relevant stories in the community. The team handles all department relations, on-campus marketing, client advertising, event coordinating, program social media, and publication distribution.
