Langaid

LangAid is an initiative established by a group of international students from Boğaziçi University, which aims to support humanitarian causes by offering affordable and diverse language classes for students. Inspired by the Language4Water clubs existing at other universities around the world, we wish to set up weekly fun language classes in as many languages as we can offer to teach, based on our available experience pool. We are proud to be part of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) at Boğaziçi University. From the outset, LangAid will donate all money raised to NGOs which are committed to supporting people affected by the disastrous earthquakes which hit Syria and Turkey on 6th of February 2023. With this initiative, we are hoping to help students reach their language goals and advance in their lives, to kindle curiosity about other languages, countries, and cultures, and to show solidarity with people going through immensely challenging times.
