The “Latter-Day Gospel Source” website is the new location for products and services previously located on the Making Precious Things Plain website. As your Latter-Day Saint gospel study and teaching resource, It is for all who teach or study scriptures, gospel doctrines, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, Church History, Old Testament, New Testament, or Pearl of Great Price. We have reference books, study guides, ebooks, lesson plans, PowerPoints, handouts, quotes, and interaction with others on our blogs and forums. If you register, we will send you daily posts that will help you prepare or study your lessons. We hope to become your new and favorite gospel study resource. Randal S. Chase spent his childhood years in Nephi, Utah, where his father was a dry land wheat farmer and a businessman. In 1959 their family moved to Salt Lake City and settled in the Holladay area. He served a full-time mission in the Central British (England Central) Mission from 1968 to 1970. He returned home and married Deborah Johnsen in 1971. They are the parents of six children—two daught. Randal S. Chase holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Utah (1997), and is currently a tenured Professor of Communication at Dixie State College of Utah.
