In 2017, Elke S. Laughlin founded Laughlin Consulting Group, a management consulting firm focused exclusively on the commercial real estate industry. The firm specializes in change management, organizational strategy, and leadership development. Elke brings 30 years of diverse experience in commercial real estate, spanning regional brokerage firms to global Fortune 500 companies. Her background includes brokerage, operations, investment sales, human resources, leadership development, marketing, and branding. A strategist at heart, Elke blends deep industry knowledge with expertise in human behavior, creating tailored leadership, sales, and coaching programs. Her strength lies in understanding what drives people—and performance—in a sales environment. She has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston’s Sales Excellence Institute and guest lectured at Texas A&M’s Mays Business School and the Lipsey School of Real Estate. Elke is a Licensed Texas Real Estate Broker, certified in behavioral sciences through TTI Success Insights, and a graduate of The Center for Houston’s Future.
