Launch U

Launch U has one primary purpose: To help underserved youth achieve collegiate and career success. Our mentors work directly with motivated scholars on a one-to-one basis to help them through all aspects of the college application process and preparation for post-secondary life. By doing so, our mentors provide our scholars the skills and confidence necessary for their future academic and professional success. Founded in 2005, Launch U’s network now includes over 300 young professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds, including Finance, Advertising, Marketing, Consulting and Education and from the leading firms in the region. Launch U’s mentors are drawn to our program because it is extremely flexible and time-efficient but more importantly enables them to provide a major impact in their mentee’s growth and success. Mission: Launch U connects motivated urban scholars with committed young professionals to provide one-on-one mentorship throughout the college process.
