Since starting Lauren Perrin, we have striven to maintain ethical and sustainable practices wherever possible. Despite limiting production capacity in certain areas and increasing costs, this has – and will always be – a core value of the brand that we work hard remaining faithful to. Not only are all products made within the UK, limiting travel and allowing for greater supply chain transparency, but wherever possible we have used recycled materials. The polyester tights for example are made from recycled polyester, while soft packaging utilises leftover fabric from London fashion houses and hard packaging is made using recycled and biodegradable cardboard with no plastic, an entirely sustainable design we are proud to have spent considerable time developing. Elsewhere, with the stretch jersey tights for example, products are made to order to avoid any unnecessary waste. Often forgoing cheaper options in favour of more sustainable alternatives, these products limit their environmental impact without compromising on quality.
