Law School Equity

At Law School Equity, our mission is to increase the inclusion of people of color in the legal field and eliminate racial inequity in the judicial system by providing future lawyers of color the tools to succeed. By providing free books and other tools people of color in all stages of the journey to becoming a lawyer, we hope to alleviate the significant financial barriers that prevent many people of color from entering the legal field. We hope to make law school more accessible for people of color who might otherwise have felt discouraged from starting down the path. We connect recipients with the following types of materials- Law school application books - LSAT study material - Pre-law books - Law school textbooks - Bar study books We plan to expand to offer law school admissions counseling, LSAT tutoring and classes, mentorship, support groups, and speaker series.
