Lawnya Vawnya

Lawnya Vawnya is a non-profit arts organization who’s mandate is to present multidisciplinary collaborative artistic experiences with a strong focus on new independent music; and to produce a multi-day festival of music and art each spring in downtown St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. Through our diverse programming we invite our audience to engage with music and art in an inclusive and innovative way. We support artistic excellence of emerging local performers. We look to foster connections between local and visiting artists. We support quality performances and professional development to further their artistic careers. We value volunteerism and community engagement. We showcase an already vibrant music and arts community and help further position St. John’s on a national and international cultural map.
