Laworld Nextgen

LAWorld is a non-exclusive international legal network of 57 independent mid-sized law firms covering most of the major commercial centres around the world, with more than 1350 lawyers across 100 cities. Its central purpose is to provide the clients of its members with instant access to quality legal advice anywhere in the world. Through membership of LAWorld, all member law firms can recommend foreign counsel most appropriate and qualified to meet the needs of every client and provide local expertise, lawyer exchanges, meeting facilities in most capital cities and global friendships. The members of LAWorld started to realize that the network they had built could only continue in the future if there was a generation to follow. It was at this moment that the LAWorld NextGen idea was born. Ever since the first kick-off meeting held in Frankfurt in November 2013, young lawyers from most European member law firms have gathered at every regional meeting, and as of 2017 every worldwide meeting, in order to share ideas and insights into their way of working, marketing their services, the path to becoming a partner and have built a strong network amongst the young colleagues as well as with the main meeting delegates.
