Layups 4 Life

Layups 4 Life is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by Dan Exter and his wife, Dana Levine Exter. The mission of L4L is to help raise vital funds for cancer research and clinical trials, supporting cancer research institutions and organizations such as Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. L4L raises these funds by hosting local events in the health, social and fitness space. One of their most popular events is an annual 3-on-3 charity basketball tournament, which averages close to 40 teams per year. Other fundraising events include a cornhole tournament, golf outing and virtual 5K. As of 2014, Layups 4 Life has raised over and with those funds have made contributions to leukemia, pediatric and bone marrow research departments and clinical trials.
