Lazare Farms is a robotic farming company established by two aerospace engineers turned investment bankers and entrepreneurs. We are embarking on a mission to use science and engineering to transform the future of food through fully automated precision farming. Our innovative software and cost-effective hardware technology empowers them to grow anything, anywhere, anytime, breaking free from the constraints of traditional agriculture. Leveraging soil-free growing, minimal resource usage, and controlled environments, Lazare Farms significantly increases food production efficiency compared to traditional farming, using 10x less water and 100x less land. Building on the lessons learned from the initial wave of vertical farming 1.0 companies, our laser focus on unit economics achieves an impressive 60% gross margins. Following the completion of our proof of concept, we expect launch our pilot farm in Lisbon’s Innovation and Design building in Q3 2024.
