LB Advisors, LLC is a Los Angeles based private equity firm that invests in recapitalizations, special situations, and acquisitions of small and middle-market companies. LB Advisors, LLC focuses on companies with revenues of $15 – $100 million. We make investments of $5 – 15 million, with our own capital alongside of a select number of family office LPs. We operate as a merchant bank, with the GP investing a substantial portion of the capital in each deal, along with our LPs. This aligns our interests with the LPs, management, and all our stakeholders. We focus on a broad range of industries including aviation, business services, consumer products, industrials, retail, specialty manufacturing, and value-added distribution in the United States and Canada. The firm’s target companies are typically:(1) misunderstood or undervalued by its markets or stakeholders;(2) corporate spin-offs and carveouts; and/or (3) undergoing an operational and/or financial turnaround.
