Welcome to the Official LinkedIn Page of LCOY Pakistan! The Local Conference of Youth (LCOY) is a dynamic initiative operating under YOUNGO, the official youth constituency of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Our mission is to empower the youth of Pakistan and create a space where they can raise their voices, contribute to policy-making, and drive impactful climate action. Empowering Youth: At LCOY Pakistan, we believe in the power of young individuals to make a difference. Our conferences provide a robust platform for passionate youth to voice their concerns, share innovative ideas, and express their unique perspectives on climate change. Capacity Building: Climate literacy is vital for informed action. LCOYs emphasize the importance of capacity building and awareness among young people. Through workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions, we equip our participants with the knowledge and skills needed to become climate change champions. Engagement in Policy-Making: We understand that meaningful change requires active involvement in policy-making processes. LCOYs offer young individuals the training and exposure they need to engage with policymakers, contribute to climate-related discussions, and drive policy decisions that lead to positive environmental outcomes. Join us in our journey to inspire, educate, and empower the youth of Pakistan to take bold climate action and create a sustainable future for all. Together, let's be the change-makers and advocates for a greener, healthier planet.#LCOY #YouthEmpowerment #ClimateLiteracy #ClimateAction #PolicyMaking #YouthForClimate #YOUNGO #Sustainability #ClimateChange #Pakistan #ClimateChampions
