Le Jardin Academy

Le Jardin Academy is a 501(c)(3) Hawai’i nonprofit organization and Hawai’i’s only Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 International Baccalaureate (IB) World Continuum School. LJA's mission is to cultivate a community of learners who embrace hana pono to positively impact the world. Its graduates attend the best universities across the world and go on to use their learning to improve their world and create impact for their local, island, and global communities. LJA is at the forefront of best practices in teaching and learning and attracts top notch faculty and administrators desiring strong community, professional growth opportunities, and meaningful work. As a community, LJA values individuality, excellence, innovation, peace, and relationships. Emphasis on inquiry, student agency, and differentiated instruction promotes lifelong learning while the practice of thinking, social, communication, research and self-management skills prepare students to tackle the great challenges of our time. Beyond traditional classrooms, LJA's main campus spans 24 acres and offers students ample outdoor gathering space, gymnasium, weight room, swimming pool, soccer field, and tennis court. The forest and wetland adjacent to campus provide additional platforms for experiential learning, sustained stewardship, and collective impact.
