Le Motif

In French le motif means motive, reason or cause. In English it is the design, theme or main idea. In literature it’s a concept that repeats itself. God’s story is like this. His motive is love and that story of love despite human brokenness is woven throughout the pages of the Bible and in our own stories. This is God’s motif – his story. How is God weaving himself into the story of your organization? Your organization has a unique part to play in what God is doing – in his mission.
