Le Surmelin Bed & Breakfast

Le Surmelin is a simple bed and breakfast in an authentic 1900 19p building in the valley of the Surmelin River in the south of the Champagne region. The former forge and cafe have been restored with great respect for the original materials and atmosphere. However, our B&B has all modern comfort. Each room has its own WC and bathroom. The whole has been renovated deliberately simple and without complexes. Le Surmelin is above all a B&B where you immediately feel at home and where you can still really enjoy the peace and quiet and the surroundings. For us, moreover, the atmosphere is important. Anyone who loves art, simplicity, openness, nature, conversation, and who especially explicitly adheres to the values of equality, freedom and fraternity is welcome. We also choose to rent only from two nights and up. We are not available for "passers-by" on their way to other destinations. We have 4 rooms but we only rent two at a time. Our breakfast is extensive and very important. Large groups are not our thing. Our B&B is very accessible, barely 3 hours from Belgium. Reims and Epernay are 40 km away.
