Born out of a vision for a healthier tomorrow, Leafytarian aims to bring a change in how we look at food. We as a society have become used to eating food that simply tastes good and is readily available but we often forget to look at how this affects our health. Most food available in the markets today is loaded with harmful chemicals and lacks many of the basic nutrients that our body needs. The year 2020 was a wake-up call for all of us who had not paid attention to what our body needs. The entire world changed in a very short span of time, which is when we realized that we need to change the kind of food that we eat. What started off as a search for a healthier and more sustainable sources for food, led to the birth of Leafytarian, a brand that strives to bring mouth-watering and nutritious food to every home. We are a hydroponics farm based out of Kolkata, growing fresh greens using sustainable and cutting-edge technology. Hydroponic farming is the result of the union between traditional agricultural values and modern technology. Our plants are grown under constant supervision in a controlled environment where all their growth needs are catered to by our team of specially trained agronomists. We fulfill all the needs that the plants have, be it optimum light, nutrition, or temperature. Our state-of-the-art indoor farmhouses have over plants thriving with the most ideal growing conditions. Our goal is to provide farm-fresh food that is easily accessible to every household. While we take pride in how our produce tastes and feels, we are confident when we say that it is also the most nutrient-packed food that you will find anywhere else on the market!
