Learning Ecosystems Lab At Ucl
The Learning Ecosystems Lab at UCL (LEL) is researching the cognitive complexity processes that enable management students to become resilient thinkers; that is, adaptable, innovative, critical thinkers and independent learners. The learning ecosystem concept recognises that formal education is only one of many contexts in which students are embedded that provide opportunities to elaborate their cognitive complexity. The goal of the Lab is to research teaching methods that empower students to enhance their cognitive complexity in all contexts, and thus resilience. We bring together academics with external professionals and other stakeholders to inform and inspire novel approaches to the formation of resilient thinkers through the effective use of the insights generated.
