The learning and development of employees should be as important to the employer as the product. The Learning Lounge journey started with the recognition of this. An idea to provide some training internally soon became a vision to provide training for the entire Markerstudy brand. Three years on and we have achieved outstanding results, some of which include ILM Centre Status, 11th in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to work for 2014 and 18th in 2013, ICS TrainingMark Accreditation, Investors in People Gold and a hugely successful Graduate Programme. The dream has always been to take our training expertise external. The Learning Lounge prides itself on being able to fulfil the needs of a dynamic group of companies. Markerstudy consists of over 60 different brands ranging from a gymnastics academy to an aviation company through to a core of insurance brands. We understand that one size does not fit all and all our training is fully adaptable to the target audience. We currently provide a range of training and development courses, from soft skills and computer training, senior leadership and management development, through to outdoor Team Building activities. We also recognise that what you learn is only half the story – how you learn is just as important. Our trainers are experts in engagement. To reinforce the strength of our bespoke courses and uniquely engaging trainers, we can offer you a training facility which provides an exclusive experience that stands head and shoulders above the rest. Set amongst 36 acres of spectacular estate, our Victorian mansion is the training facility. The Markerstudy group of companies holds a culture of change.
