Founded in 2011, LeatherProjects presents a unique range of high-quality leather goods handmade in Copenhagen. Crafted in Italian vegetable tanned leather, LeatherProjects has a passion for craftsmanship and thoroughness. LeatherProjects is deeply inspired by Scandinavian minimalism and the Japanese Kanso philosophy – both dogmas that centre around simplicity, elimination of clutter and exclusion of the non-essential. Thus, LeatherProjects is about modern, timeless and hand-sewn design. We believe that leather goods are like a personal journal. The way they age, get a scratch or get darkened by the oils from your hands, they capture a story – your story. Therefore, it’s so important to us that our products are made from the best and most durable materials and it’s also why we put so much effort into every cut and every stitch. We believe that good, handmade design takes time, but we also love new technology and development.
