Welcome to Leedana. We help communities grow fresh, nutrient-rich food with minimal water, by using sand. Leedana’s scalable, sand-based farming system turns deserts and poor soils into productive land. Powered by natural fish waste as fertilizer, it delivers high yields with low input costs. We operate farms, build local partnerships, and deploy systems globally, bringing reliable food production to arid and remote regions. From Canada to Egypt, we’ve expanded in North America and the Middle East. Now, we’re building the tools, data, and network to bring it to the world. Inspired by decades of iAVs research led by scientists such as Mark McMurtry, Doug Sanders, and Merle Jensen, at Leedana, we are focused on making sand-based farming accessible, fundable, and scalable for lands where vegetation has become impossible.
