He has experience in: • All aspects of management systems development, implementation and improvement, focussing on performance improvement and alignment with business goals • Training in environmental sustainability, management systems, auditing and environmental compliance • A wide range of environmental auditing types and scopes • Corporate sustainability strategy and reporting • Resource efficiency programmes, as an Envirowise advisor and for leading manufacturing companies • Compliance support, including environmental permitting • Contaminated land investigation and environmental monitoring and sampling • Environmental impact assessment and planning in the waste, minerals, industry and infrastructure sectors Nigel has extensive knowledge of international standards and their implications for business. He was one of the UK’s technical experts on the working group that developed ISO 14001:2015, and so can provide unique specialist support for EMS development and improvement. He has also been involvement in the development or revision of ISO 45001 for health and safety management systems, ISO 19011 for management systems auditing and the forthcoming ISO 14016 on assurance of environmental reports.
