LEGENDS SOCCER SCHOOL (LSS) is a football school founded in Cape Town in 2011 by qualified and exprienced coach, Anees Abbas. PROGRAM OVERVIEW LSS is a specialized micro football program where players are taught the fundamentals of soccer in a competitive and friendly atmosphere. Our main goal throughout these sessions is to effectively incorporate kid’s soccer drills, with the intent of developing young players’ foot skills, passing, and receiving. In addition to the drills, we also teach through fun and exciting games. Players will be entertained along with learning the beautiful game of soccer through soccer speed and agility drills. FOCUS Our program aims to develop the four corners of football i.e Technical, Tactical, Physical and Psychological. TECHNICAL skills include: • Fast Footwork Skills • Dribbling Moves & Fakes • First Touch & Receiving • Short, Long & Bending Passing • Heading • Various Shooting Techniques • Goalkeeping Techniques TACTICAL skills include: 1v1 Tactics 2v1 Situations & Combination Play Switching the Point of Attack Possession Speed & Rhythm of Play Counterattack Concepts Individual Defending Small Group & Cover Defending Ball Oriented & Zonal Defending PHYSICAL developments include: • Speed • Agility • Balance • Co-ordination • Turning • Change of direction • Psychomotor skills PSYCHOLOGICAL development include: Confidence Social skills Cognitive skills Decision making Handling failure Leadership skills WHERE FUTURE LEGENDS FIND THEIR PATH.
