Lenstore is an innovative online retailer of contact lenses that was founded in London in 2008. Headquartered in Wimbledon, South West London, Lenstore’s annual turnover has continually grown year on year. The company has also expanded internationally and is looking to double the number of its employees in the next two years. Lenstore was acquired in 2013 by GrandVision, a global leader in optical retail with over stores across 43 countries, including almost 600 Vision Express stores in the UK. Although Lenstore now operates with the backing of a global group, it retains its entrepreneurial spirit and family feel. In the UK, Lenstore is unique in combining its online offering with access to Vision Express services. Lenstore’s ambitious strategic plan sees the company continuing to grow its core businesses in the UK and Germany while launching in three international territories in the next two years.
