Lerato Foundation

The Lerato Foundation, formerly known as Unawiri Children Foundation, is a youth-led, student-centered, and community-driven organization committed to empowering young people and strengthening communities across Kenya. Building on our legacy, we focus on creating opportunities for children, youth, and communities to thrive through initiatives in education, mentorship, nutrition (A Meal A Day), clean water, sports, and community development. Our programs are designed to nurture talent, build life skills, and support holistic growth. Through scholarships, mentorship programs, daily nutritious meals, access to safe drinking water, sports outreach, and community empowerment initiatives, we help children succeed academically, youth discover leadership, and communities become more resilient and self-reliant. Each initiative is thoughtfully crafted to bring hope, unlock potential, and create lasting positive change in the lives of individuals and the communities they belong to. Guided by integrity, excellence, and compassion, Lerato Foundation implements sustainable and impactful programs that leave enduring benefits for generations to come.
