Les Plumes Rouges

We are two editors,(French/English & English/French translators, writers and scholars, in short "des travailleuses de texte:" Sandrine Sanos & Darcie Fontaine. After twelve to twenty years in academia in Texas and Florida, we now bring our experience and knowledge to help others write, revise, publish and negotiate the often-inflexible structural demands and often-unspoken norms of the profession that shape our publication and working lives. We have taught widely, published, won awards or fellowships, applied to many more, sought and given advice, mentored, and participated in all aspects of a working faculty life in the profession. We are especially committed to early career and first-generation scholars.
