What are Clarity Enhanced Diamonds? The principle of Clarity Enhancement is to make natural diamond imperfections invisible. Almost every diamond has an internal structural inclusions that were created ether during the process of crystallization of the diamond or during the polishing process. The clarity enhancement process is a state-of-the-art technology that optically eliminates those internal inclusions in diamonds and improve there brilliance and clarity. Simply stated, the process uses a glass-like material which adds virtually no weight to the diamond. It coats the inside surface of fractures or 'feathers' in diamonds with transparent material whose optical characteristics and its refractive index are almost the same as a natural diamond. The coating masks the fracture to the naked eyes.
