ORIGINS The story of Less Is More Project starts off from the urge to break with the daily routine and the typical city life, and a journey around the world with Bali, Indonesia as a starting point. At some point back in 2013 after the most stressful time ever in our lives it was crystal clear to us. If our lives didn’t get us excited anymore, it was time to change them. So did we. In late 2013 we would embark on a travel adventure and would turn out that not only our backpacks would be filled with experiences but that we would never be the same as we once were. All in all, best decision ever. THE DREAM Less Is More Project is a journey close to culture, people and wilderness driving social support, constant challenge and adventure worldwide. Indonesia was chosen by us to join forces with a collective of makers to co-create conscious-quality accessories while nurturing local communities in a sustainable way, ensuring decent working conditions and fair terms of trade. With the Down Under the wild bit came. Australia would challenge us the unthinkable, crossing by van the entire country through the dirt and bumpy Outback roads at over forty degrees. Even so, the toughest and most fulfilling days were yet to come, hitchhiking and trekking thousands of kilometres in New Zealand. And then, was México, a burst of cultural tradition and social learning. The journey is now over.
